Absolutely enthusiastic ... it starts with the ambience ... you feel at home immediately ... the food is very high quality and the staff is so friendly that you can only be satisfied! Nowadays you rarely find something like this. The cheese fondues are also of an extremely good quality ... what I have noticed very positively in the current situation due to Corona and have not yet seen in any restaurant are the partition walls between the neighboring tables ... Kudos to the boss and the whole team.

Chicken Salad. Ready-made dressing, dry chicken, dry bread. 16 € That was the worst salad in this price range

Short: Cozy, friendly, tasty and fair. Long: The staff was very courteous and friendly, tried to do everything possible to accommodate us tourists at short notice ("reserved" by phone 5 minutes in advance). The order came promptly after it was taken and met our expectations. In the cozy atmosphere we first enjoyed our drinks and then our food came. It was simply fantastic in terms of appearance and taste. If we were here in the region more often, it would definitely be a candidate for a local pub. 100 percent recommendable. Corona addendum: Of all the companies visited, this is one of the very few that adheres to all known regulations on the containment ordinance, especially the 1.5 m distance (or spatial separation). Thumbs up.

After a bike tour to Horben, a very good onion cake was waiting here. The landscape here is simply beautiful and can be reached very quickly from Freiburg. However, if you want to ride a bike (not an e-bike) you should have a good level of stamina, the altitude meters are not entirely without. I would love to come back here.

We ate at this restaurant several times during our vacation. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent every time. In addition to the usual dishes (which also tasted very good) there are also unusual dishes such as a burger with goat cheese. Delicious !!! Everyone can find something to their liking here.

I was able to spend some time here with the slight relaxation of travel restrictions troughout Europe. Wonderful, creative, tasty food, excellent service. Give it a go for a lovely food experience in Horben. The deserts were absolutely outstanding. Thank you for a great evening.

Very nice and quiet, very nice staff, good and tasty selection of dishes for every taste, the delicious homemade cakes are particularly recommended.

We were friends here, 10 very hungry people. There was almost no one except us. The other guests ate cake and drank coffee. Still we had to wait a long time. The service was not particularly friendly. Forced service. The food and drinks were good though. Unfortunately I have no wish to come back here

Delicious food

Well organized family business I ate tagliatelle with chanterelles, they were just awesome !!! Big compliments to the chef! Pasta was just the way I like it. The service was extremely friendly and courteous. The location is very cozy and ideal as a stopover after hiking or cycling. The hiking trails are right outside the door

Surprise of the day. We were five adults and two children for the first time to eat. Yes, I was totally surprised by the great furnishings in the restaurant, cozy and authentic We all loved the food too. Price performance TOP!

Super local, excellent cuisine (be sure to ask for fillet steak from the Weiderind from Horben! / Salmon pan is also excellent), very nice hosts and a nice atmosphere.

The place is great, food awesome, portions big and their cocktails very yummy. The owner cares for each and every guest, and at the end you even get a free treat.. What more? Great prices 😁 I totally recommend it. Go, check it out.

We went for a business meal and I have to say the food was really good. The prices for steaks absolutely fine. Food very good, if fish or meat just delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. For the service I would, if possible, give extra points very courteous and always ask if you needed them. thank you for the hospitality An absolute secret tip !!!
